<p style="text-align: justify;"><br />La colección Bicentenario del Perú ha sido concebida para mostrar a la ciudadanía las fuentes documentales sobre la historia de los descendientes de chinos en el Perú, correspondiente a las primeras décadas de la inmigración china. La memoria histórica de los descendientes es parte de la diversidad cultural que caracteriza a la nación peruana, que fue enriquecida con los 172 años de presencia china en los 200 años de vida republicana del país. En esta colección presentamos 19 fuentes documentales de los años 1852 a 1929 consideradas patrimonio documental de la nación, que han sido incorporadas con el apoyo del Archivo General de la Nación del Perú.</p>

El comercio de soja y la inmigración china son dos campos nodales de las relaciones sino-argentinas. Las políticas comerciales de cada país guían las ventas de soja, mientras que la política migratoria argentina busca controlar el flujo inmigratorio chino. Sin embargo, la creciente influencia de empresas y migrantes chinos en Argentina permea funciones asignadas al Estado. Pese a esto, el gobierno sudamericano todavía cuenta con capacidad para ejercer una influencia restrictiva significativa sobre los actores no estatales –legales o clandestinos–, a través de su papel dominante en la alianza con las empresas transnacionales y la potestad de controlar el flujo migratorio.

Describe el archipiélago filipino desde su conquista por los españoles en 1571, y el origen y desarrollo de la inmigración de chinos llamados sangleyes (comerciantes) a Manila, algunos de los cuales se embarcaron rumbo a Acapulco. Se describe el florecimiento del mercado de los productos asiáticos en la Nueva España durante los siglos XVII y XVIII, la construcción del mercado del Parián en la Ciudad de México, similar al de Manila en Filipinas y las restricciones impuestas a este comercio. En las consideraciones finales se presentan resumidamente cuanto dato sobre los migrantes chinos a la Nueva España fue localizado en el Archivo General de la Nación (México) y los Archivos en Manila de la Universidad de Santo Tomás y Universidad Diliman, así como en la Kaisa Heritage Center, fundación encargada de preservar y promover el conocimiento de la herencia cultural china en Filipinas.
