Title A name given to the resource Literatura tusán Description An account of the resource La colección Literatura tusán fue creada en 2020 para documentar la producción literaria de los autores descendientes de chinos en el Perú, con ello se pretedende visibilizar que la literatura hecha por autores tusanes comprende un amplio espectro de temas y géneros que dialoga con lo peruano, lo tusán, lo chino y lo universal. <br /><br />La recopilación realizada es un recorrido literario por los más de 170 años de inmigración china al Perú, periodo en que han aparecido autores como Pedro Zulen y Kuan Veng en la década de 1920, Sui Yun en la década de 1970-1980, Siu Kam Wen en la década de 1980, Julia Wong Kcomt y Julio Villanueva Chang en la década de 1990, junto a una explosión de nuevos autores en los años 2000 que se autoreconocen como tusanes: Miguel Ángel Sanz Chung, Fanny Jem Wong, Tania Agüero Dejo, Nilton Maa, entre otros. Sumamos a este valioso grupo de escritores, al siempre poeta fundamental descendiente de chinos: Enrique Verástegui Ah Tao Ko (como se autodenomina en su artículo El aporte tusán al Perú) y que incorporó en su extensa obra literaria elementos del pensamiento filosófico chino.<br /><br />Rescatamos también la obra literaria de los autores tusanes Armando Guerrero Rodríguez y Roger Li Mau, como valiosos escritos que retratan y recrean los procesos de adaptación y resistencia de los inmigrantes chinos y sus descendientes.<br /><br />Gran parte de esta colección ha sido desarrollada gracias a los Estímulos Económicos para la Cultura 2022 del Ministerio de Cultura del Perú a través del proyecto beneficiario <em>Visibilización de la comunidad peruano china a través de la difusión de la producción literaria de autores tusanes</em>. El taller se desarrolló en el marco de la jornada “Soy Tusán. Encuentro Cultural por el Día de la Inmigración China al Perú”, en conmemoración de los 176 años de presencia china. Tuvo lugar el martes 14 de octubre de 2025 en la Sala Nasca del Museo Nacional de Arqueología, Antropología e Historia del Perú. Fue un espacio de encuentro entre mujeres tusanes de segunda, tercera y cuarta generación desde la llegada de sus ancestros migrantes. Unidos por un hilo rojo, los versos reunidos en este libro, conforman un poema colectivo nacido de las vivencias, sentires y memorias de las participantes. El poema final —curado por Xirou Xiao— constituye la expresión poética y performativa de este grupo de mujeres tusanes contemporáneas, diversas en edad y generación pero unidas por una identidad compartida. Más específicamente, el objetivo principal ha sido analizar las percepciones, dinámicas y relaciones socioculturales que tienen los tusanes respecto a la nueva ola de inmigrantes chinos y cuáles son sus estrategias organizacionales en esa relación. La pregunta central del estudio es ¿qué grado de solidaridad existe en la relación entre los tusanes y los inmigrantes chinos que están llegando a Lima a partir de la década de 1970? La hipótesis central ha sido que el sentimiento de solidaridad entre los tusanes y los chinos de las nuevas olas de inmigración se limita sólo al reconocimiento de la cultura de origen común. El enfoque del estudio es de tipo cualitativo y se ha sustentado en datos cuantitativos, los cuales sirven como base para hacer una investigación más profunda y de tipo cualitativo. Muchos datos están basados en información obtenida durante el trabajo de campo en Lima entre el 25 de mayo y el 7 de agosto de 2014. En Lima se han obtenido los datos mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas con expertos sobre el tema; un grupo focal dirigido a miembros de una asociación de tusanes y al presidente de una revista para tusanes y su esposa; encuestas respondidas por tusanes de diferentes asociaciones culturales y a través de observación participante en una asociación de tusanes. Desde su llegada al Perú hace 160 años, los chinos han luchado por formar una comunidad. Enfrentado con duras condiciones de vida, esparcidas en haciendas, privados de mujeres chinas y sufriendo del racismo, el maltrato y las leyes de inmigración restrictivas, la tarea de mantenerse vivo parecía insuperable. Paradójicamente, el surgimiento y consolidación de la comunidad china surgió a través del mestizaje y la conversión al catolicismo. Este mestizaje les permitió reconstruir la estructura familiar china, aunque apareció una jerarquía interna dependiendo del grado de mestizaje. La Iglesia Católica también jugó un papel como artífice de la identidad china ayudando desde el principio con la organización de asociaciones y fortaleciendo el sentido de pertenencia y reconocimiento de los tusanes (tusheng en mandarín) o "nativos locales" como parte de la comunidad china. Sin embargo, los nuevos inmigrantes de China, llegados desde la década de 1980, han impugnado la legitimidad de los tusanes y planteado nuevos desafíos a la comunidad china local. ¿Cómo y en qué medida esta nueva inmigración china ha cambiado la vida comunitaria y reforzó/debilitó la identidad tusán?
