A summary of the resource.
Elabora una propuesta de análisis en torno a un texto de Siu Kam Wen: “El Discurso”. Relato incluido en su primera colección de cuentos titulada El tramo final. El análisis realizado toma como eje central la presencia del cuerpo como elemento codificador del ser humano dentro del cuento y por extensión en su obra narrativa. Se analiza cómo un individuo, en el espacio formativo del colegio, es sometido a una serie de mecanismos de control para así convertirlo en un cuerpo dócil (concepto de Michael Foucault). Aunque el individuo no se adscribe a la postura política oficial, la función de de portavoz es la de responder a determinados parámetros políticos. A partir de este rasgo de la palabra “portavoz” es posible apuntar que el control sobre el cuerpo del individuo es claro durante todo el relato, desde la perspectiva de la que se parta.

En el año 2018 se hallaron tres entierros de inmigrantes chinos de fines del siglo XIX y comienzos del siglo XX en el distrito limeño de Carabayllo, durante los trabajos de monitoreo arqueológico de la empresa Cálidda. En esta nota se presenta la reconstrucción de estos contextos funerarios, así como las osteobiografías de cada uno de estos individuos, a fin de acercarnos a cómo fue la vida, muerte y ritual mortuorio de estas personas.

Carlos Chong conoce al artista y fotógrafo Manolo Lau en la Casa de la Cultura de Pacasmayo.
El abuelo de Manolo, Benjamin Lau Yen, llegó al Perú a inicios del siglo pasado, se casó en Pacasmayo con Luzmila Ainzoain Lezama (peruana). Manolo, es la segunda generación tusán. Su abuelo fue uno de los principales hacendados de la zona.
Manolo estudiaba Derecho y Ciencias Políticas en la Universidad de Lima hasta que interrumpió sus estudios para incursionar en el mundo del arte que tanto le atraía. En cuanto a su otra pasión, Manolo cultiva la fotografía desde que era niño. Siempre lleva una cámara con él y, como en todo aprendizaje, ha incursionado en diferentes disciplinas fotográficas.

Breve reseña del Primer Encuentro de Asociaciones y Comunidades chinas en México realizada el 26 de junio de 2021 donde sus miembros relataron recuerdos y vivencias acercas de sus familias y sus experiencias de organización. La autora compara este encuentro con la tradición china del Festival de la Luna que es motivo de reunión familiar, y menciona que México en náhuatl significa “en el ombligo de la Luna".

A inicios de este año se hizo de conocimiento masivo la existencia de un nuevo virus en el centro de China capaz de ocasionar graves problemas a la salud pública y de expandirse desmedidamente fuera de su lugar de origen. La lucha contra esta enfermedad fue, de hecho, un proceso de aprendizaje continuo, y cuando ya se tuvo suficiente información acerca de los mecanismos de contingencia, se pudieron aplicar medidas paliativas que lentamente fueron disminuyendo los casos activos de contagio. De esta experiencia es muy importante notar un elemento: la información.
Y es pues, esta información, la que permite desarrollar herramientas más sofisticadas, como los sistemas de reconocimiento facial insertado en el sistema de videovigilancia más grande del mundo, empleando más de 20 millones de cámaras. El gigante asiático impulsó también el desarrollo de la tecnología 5G, y la observación de patrones anticipados a alguna acción delincuencial. Estas herramientas ayudaron a determinar el movimiento e identificación de personas contagiadas por el nuevo virus, lo cual permitió un mejor reconocimiento de clústeres de esta enfermedad y una respuesta mucho mejor dirigida.
Por otro lado han surgido bastantes críticas al respecto, entre ellas destaca la vulneración a la privacidad de las personas.

La colección Literatura tusán fue creada en 2020 para documentar la producción literaria de los autores descendientes de chinos en el Perú, con ello se pretedende visibilizar que la literatura hecha por autores tusanes comprende un amplio espectro de temas y géneros que dialoga con lo peruano, lo tusán, lo chino y lo universal. <br /><br />La recopilación realizada es un recorrido literario por los más de 170 años de inmigración china al Perú, periodo en que han aparecido autores como Pedro Zulen y Kuan Veng en la década de 1920, Sui Yun en la década de 1970-1980, Siu Kam Wen en la década de 1980, Julia Wong Kcomt y Julio Villanueva Chang en la década de 1990, junto a una explosión de nuevos autores en los años 2000 que se autoreconocen como tusanes: Miguel Ángel Sanz Chung, Fanny Jem Wong, Tania Agüero Dejo, Nilton Maa, entre otros. Sumamos a este valioso grupo de escritores, al siempre poeta fundamental descendiente de chinos: Enrique Verástegui Ah Tao Ko (como se autodenomina en su artículo El aporte tusán al Perú) y que incorporó en su extensa obra literaria elementos del pensamiento filosófico chino.<br /><br />Rescatamos también la obra literaria de los autores tusanes Armando Guerrero Rodríguez y Roger Li Mau, como valiosos escritos que retratan y recrean los procesos de adaptación y resistencia de los inmigrantes chinos y sus descendientes.<br /><br />Gran parte de esta colección ha sido desarrollada gracias a los Estímulos Económicos para la Cultura 2022 del Ministerio de Cultura del Perú a través del proyecto beneficiario <em>Visibilización de la comunidad peruano china a través de la difusión de la producción literaria de autores tusanes</em>. Lo que nos ha permitido sumar 155 fichas bibliográficas que documentan la memoria de la producción literaria de los tusanes en el Perú.<br /><img src="http://tusanaje.org/biblioteca/files/original/Logo-EstImulos_2022_color.jpg" style="width: 270px; height: 270px; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" img="" alt="Estimulos Mincul 2022" />

«Como su doble título, este libro tiene dos autopistas (veloces) principales: la que lleva a la Urbe, y la que lleva a la Madre. Con un simple cambio de letras, con un movimiento rápido de la mirada, se devela la Ubre. Pero en cada una, desvíos y posibilidades son múltiples. Las urbes tienen distintos rostros, pero suele aparecer el más despiadado. En ellas la naturaleza es expulsada (como sucede con las palomas del comienzo), o puede encontrarse la naturaleza humana, hecha de olor y residuos: "El sudor de las axilas / las mujeres sobándose / los mozos / las ganas", humanos que desbordan de animalidad o se vuelven objetos, productos, artificios (...). Entonces empalmamos con el otro camino principal, en el que aparece la dupla madre-hija, las que se mueven de ciudad en ciudad, o la que lleva a la madre de la madre. Y así, a China y a Perú, al pueblo de la infancia, al campo y a sus caballos, vacas, terneras, burros, conejos. Esta autopista se va deshaciendo como si volviéramos en el tiempo, y hacia atrás, hacia atrás, desembocáramos en un camino de tierra, en un lugar remoto donde arribaron los Wong, “desde esas barcas que nos trajeron al fin del mundo”.» (Fuente: Karina Macció, 2020).
